SafeHaven Cleaning Services (SHCS)

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website and services provided by SafeHaven Cleaning Services (“SHCS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By requesting an estimate, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Services Provided

SafeHaven Cleaning Services provides residential, commercial, post-construction cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, home staging cleaning, interior design, and event decoration services (“Services”).

All Services are provided based on the information supplied by the client at the time of booking or estimate request.

2. Estimates & Pricing

  • All estimates are non-binding and based on the details provided by the client.

  • Final pricing may change if the scope, size, condition, or requirements of the space differ from what was disclosed.

  • Additional services requested on-site may result in additional charges.

  • Prices are subject to applicable taxes.

3. Booking & Scheduling

  • Service dates and times are scheduled based on availability.

  • SHCS reserves the right to adjust scheduling due to weather, emergencies, staff availability, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Clients must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property at the scheduled service time.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a cancellation fee.

  • SHCS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services when necessary.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about the property and services required

  • Secure pets and remove fragile or valuable items prior to service

  • Ensure utilities (water, electricity) are available during service

  • Notify SHCS of any hazards, sensitive surfaces, or special instructions in advance

SHCS is not responsible for damage caused by undisclosed hazards or pre-existing conditions.

6. Satisfaction & Quality Assurance

If you are not satisfied with the service:

  • You must notify SHCS within 24 hours of service completion

  • SHCS will assess the concern and may, at its discretion, return to address reasonable issues related to the original scope of work

Refunds are not guaranteed and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Limitations of Liability

  • SHCS is not liable for normal wear and tear, pre-existing damage, or items not disclosed prior to service

  • Liability is limited to the cost of the service provided

  • SHCS is not responsible for loss or damage to items not reasonably secured by the client

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where prohibited by law.

8. Health, Safety & Access

  • SHCS reserves the right to refuse or stop service if conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, or pose a risk to staff

  • This includes aggressive animals, biohazards, structural hazards, or unsafe work environments

9. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due as agreed at booking or upon service completion

  • Accepted payment methods will be communicated at booking

  • Late or unpaid balances may result in service suspension

10. Gift Cards & Promotions

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and have no cash value

  • Promotions cannot be retroactively applied

  • Terms and expiry conditions for promotions will be clearly stated

11. Website Use

  • Website content is provided for general information purposes only

  • SHCS does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website access

  • Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of website content is prohibited

12. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada.

14. Changes to These Terms

SHCS reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
